White Horse Employment are currently supporting a well-established organisation within the Education sector in the search for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional with strong employee relations experience to take ownership of complex ER matters while working closely with senior stakeholders to support a fair, consistent and legally compliant people function.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a broad range of employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and investigations
* Leading formal hearings and supporting appeals processes
* Conducting sensitive investigations and producing detailed, evidence-based reports
* Providing pragmatic employment law advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders
* Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and consultation processes
* Assisting with policy development and promoting HR best practice across the organisation
* Identifying and mitigating employee relations risk while supporting a positive workplace culture
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience managing complex ER casework
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience advising managers on sensitive employee relations matters
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
* A calm, professional and solutions-focused approach
* CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience desirable
Package & Benefits
* Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

This is a 5 days onsite role as the HR Advisor needs to be on site, dealing with issues as and when they come through the door.
