The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager located in Lowestoft, with some remote working such as onsite meetings and demos with customers and new accounts, as well as providing equipment demonstrations and user training.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
1. Identifying and establishing new business opportunities.
2. Achieving territory sales targets through cold calls, appointments, site surveys, and demonstrations to end users.
3. Achieving a specific number of calls into target groups monthly.
4. Promoting all products to selected accounts and end users.
5. Following up on sales leads and issuing quotes.
6. Providing advice, product guidance, and demos to end users.
7. Achieving set KPIs.
8. Continuously using CRM software.
Educational Attainments:
Good standard of general education – 3 GCSEs at Grade C (Level 5) including English and Maths.
Knowledge required:
Product knowledge in the cleaning industry or a similar/related field is desirable; however, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Experience required:
Proven sales experience with achievement of targets, ideally in relevant target markets, including FMCG/consumer durables sectors for both B2B and B2C.
