About the Role
Join our dynamic team at the Runcorn Taste & Nutrition production facility as an Engineering Maintenance Planner. In this pivotal role, you will be the mastermind behind the efficient planning, scheduling, and allocation of all non-emergency maintenance work. Collaborating closely with our Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams, you will create robust maintenance plans, build structures within our planned maintenance system, and provide insightful statistics and reports.

Key Responsibilities
* Adopt a ‘Safety First and Quality Always’ approach when planning all maintenance work.
* Efficiently plan, schedule, and control the workflow of all non-emergency maintenance from origination through to assignment.
* Manage day-to-day task/job allocation generated from the Intelex system.
* Coordinate parts, machine availability, and the time of maintenance engineers.
* Liaise with production, supply chain, and maintenance organizations to achieve maintenance objectives while ensuring production meets desired output.
* Keep Engineering and Production Teams informed on all abnormal or critical situations and seek advice on matters outside of your knowledge or authority.
* Ensure all maintenance-related work aligns with engineering standards, including sanitary design, safety, ergonomics, and food safety requirements.
* Identify opportunities for improving ways of working and preventive maintenance regimes.
* Maintain appropriate records and files for analysis and reporting of results, ensuring they are always audit-ready.
* Follow systems processes to efficiently manage and record all activity (Excel, COUPA, CMMS, SAP PM, INTELEX).
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with maintenance planning and scheduling.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate maintenance needs while balancing other departmental requirements.
* Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP (mandatory).
