About Our School
Wrenn School is unique, we are lucky enough to be a split site school, enabling us to provide a lower and upper school site. The school has beautiful grounds, purpose-built Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology, Wrenn Astro, playing fields, hard play areas and Gyms provide excellent facilities for our pupils. About The Maths Department
We are seeking to expand our Maths Department due to an anticipated increase in student enrolment from September 2025.
The Maths Department at The Wrenn School is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics among students. Led by a team of passionate and experienced educators, the department offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to challenge and engage learners of all abilities. With a focus on innovative teaching methods and a commitment to academic excellence, the department ensures that every student has the opportunity to succeed and develop critical thinking skills. The supportive and collaborative environment encourages students to explore mathematical concepts and apply them to real-world situations, preparing them for future academic and career success.
About You
As a Teacher of Maths at Wrenn School, you will bring your expertise and passion for mathematics to inspire both students and colleagues, driving innovative teaching practices and fostering a culture of academic excellence. Our ideal candidate would:
* Be an outstanding and committed teacher.
* Have the ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with students and colleagues.
* Have a readiness to share expertise, skills, and knowledge, coupled with the ability to inspire others to do the same.
Requirements
To apply for the Teacher of Maths opportunity you must hold:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree or equivalent in Maths or a relevant subject.
* Experience in teaching Maths at key stages 3, 4 and 5.
* Recent and relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
