We’re currently partnering with a major London developer in the search for a talented Senior Interior Designer to join its growing in‑house design team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale residential, mixed‑use and regeneration projects across London, contributing to thoughtfully designed environments that place quality, community and long‑term impact at the centre of development.
The Opportunity
This role will see you leading interior design projects from concept through to completion, working across high‑profile residential and mixed‑use schemes within a collaborative, design‑led environment.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders, playing a key role in shaping both the creative direction and technical delivery of projects.
The position offers excellent scope for someone who enjoys balancing creative design, FF&E, technical coordination and stakeholder management within a commercially aware development environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead interior concepts from feasibility through to completion
* Develop and present mood boards, material palettes and design narratives
* Maintain design quality and consistency across multiple projects
* Mentor and support junior designers
Technical & Project Delivery
* Produce and coordinate Stage 2/3 design packages
* Review technical drawings and ensure design intent is maintained
* Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers
* Attend site and assist with resolving technical and delivery challenges
FF&E and Procurement
* Lead FF&E selection, specification and supplier coordination
* Manage material libraries, approvals and procurement coordination
* Work closely with procurement teams on cost alignment and value engineering
Stakeholder Management
* Present designs to senior leadership teams
* Liaise with marketing teams on CGIs, brochures and sales suites
* Support contractor coordination throughout construction phases
About you
* 5+ years’ experience within residential or mixed‑use interior design
* Experience working on UK‑based development projects
* Strong conceptual and technical design capability
* Excellent FF&E knowledge and supplier awareness
* Confident managing projects from concept through delivery
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Commercially aware with strong project coordination skills
