Duties

* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Train new staff members on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
* Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends.
* Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients are sourced.
Skills
* Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen management.
* Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
