Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions. The Role: The Autosar Lead will be involved in all core functional domains of Automotive high-performance products, such as Hybrid Powertrain, Transmission, Chassis, Body control systems, offering a great opportunity of personal and technical development. The work involves cutting-edge E/E platform technologies (Classical AUTOSAR 4.3, Infineon Aurix Tricore), with a complex scope touching Functional Safety (up to ISO-26262 ASIL-D ASW and E2E), embedded networking (CAN, LIN and Ethernet stack configuration), diagnostics (DoIP) and flash bootloader, optimization (memory, task scheduling, multicore), memory partitioning, logging and calibration (XCP) and time synchronization (TSN). EESS is a growing domain within Tata Technologies Limited, with ambitious targets to grow capability and capacity in order to provide best in class control, systems engineering and software delivery know-how to the automotive sectors on a global basis. Verification and validation activities are key to successful delivery and a positive customer experience. Area of Responsibility: Embedded Software will work on all aspects to define, design, and deliver an embedded software platform for Autosar electronic control units. Configuring and integrating Autosar software components Handling the mapping of ECU Hardware and software through the integration process Using ETAS RTC to configure real time communication, timing and task scheduling for ECUs Configuration of system stack, memory stack, communication stack, CDD and HW abstraction Document the integration guideline and process ARMXL creation for SW-C Promote good software practice to ensure reliable, maintainable and safe code. Work cross-functionally to deliver software components Performing performance analysis and optimizing for real time behaviors (latency, response time) Knowledge / Experience: Essential: Extensive experience working in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM developing and integrating all aspects of embedded real-time AUTOSAR basic software. Expert use of relevant tools such as ETAS RTC for configuration, Knowledge of communication protocols CAN, Flexray and Ethernet. Good exposure in AUTOSAR standards and architecture. Excellent of coding guidelines for safe and secure application such as MISRA C Experience with V-model software Experienced in embedded C programming. Development process and version control and configuration management Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS Technical mindset with the ability to work from fundamental engineering principles Collaborative, working effectively across teams & departments to deliver on time & to quality.
