Building Efficiency Division | London & South | Hybrid / Semi-Mobile
Join our Building Efficiency Division and start building your career in Building Management Systems (BMS). As an Associate BMS Engineer, you'll support experienced engineers in delivering energy‑efficient solutions across customer sites in London and the South.
You'll assist with routine service visits, help with maintenance tasks, and identify small works opportunities. You'll develop hands‑on skills across BMS hardware, software, and HVAC plant, supported by structured training. On‑call participation may be introduced as your capability grows.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone with a strong technical mindset and an interest in BMS or HVAC systems. Experience with AHUs, FCUs or chillers is helpful. Familiarity with Trend, Tridium or Metasys is beneficial but not essential — training will be provided. Key Responsibilities
• Support routine BMS PPM visits under senior supervision
• Assist in responding to basic BMS issues and callouts
• Review site logbooks and help address minor issues
• Produce clear service notes and support upgrade recommendations
• Assist subcontractors on-site when required
• Learn to modify and configure BMS software
• Maintain documentation relating to system changes
• Develop understanding of HVAC plant and BMS controls

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Interest or experience in BMS, HVAC or related technical fields
• Basic understanding of electrical principles or control systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• HNC/HND in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or similar preferred
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Clean UK driving licence
Additional Information
• Semi‑mobile role, usually one site per day
• Increasing focus on small works as skills develop
