Job Description Purchasing Execute end-to-end purchasing activities for the assigned commodity based on project and production needs. Issue purchase orders ensuring adherence to delivery schedules, quality requirements and cost targets. Conduct RFQs, analyse offers, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and manage order fulfilment. Monitor supplier performance (QCD) for the assigned scope and implement corrective actions within remit, escalating major issues to the Lead Buyer. Perform supplier scouting and support supplier audits in line with the department strategy. Maintain accurate reporting and KPIs for the assigned commodity and provide regular updates to the Lead Buyer. Work closely with aero planning and other depts. to define criticalities and priorities Professionalism Suggest, investigate, (and where applicable) implement new methods and processes. Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects; To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / team/ sponsors.
