This is a classroom-based role, working closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and inclusion across the school.About the Role:Frogwell Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled and experienced Specialist Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional and complex special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).This post is a specialist role and will be based either within our Resource Base or in mainstream KS2 classes, supporting pupils to access learning, develop independence, and thrive socially and emotionally. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support pupils both individually and in small groups, and to promote inclusion alongside peers where appropriate.The role also includes midday supervision duties, supporting pupils during lunchtime and outdoor activities.This role is not suitable for candidates without relevant experience.
