We are seeking a talented and committed Computer Science Teacher to join a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Northampton. This is a full-time and temporary role starting immediately, with the potential for an extension depending on departmental needs.
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for Computing and a strong understanding of the curriculum at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5. The department is forward-thinking, well-resourced, and supported by experienced staff and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS5

Plan, assess and track pupil progress in line with school policy

Maintain a positive learning environment focused on student achievement
*
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practice
Candidate Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field
*
QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
*
Experience teaching Computing at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*
Strong classroom management skills and commitment to high standards
*
Legal right to work in the UK
Salary:
This position will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS) and is dependent on experience.
