Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Maintenance Manager to oversee the Canning or PET department at our Britvic facility. Your responsibilities will include producing and implementing maintenance schedules for equipment and container delivery, ensuring compliance with our standards for Production, Quality, Food Safety, and Budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prioritize health & safety, including Incident Coordination, Fire Marshal duties, LOTO, PTW, and Contractor Control.
2. Maintain a planned maintenance system (via SAP) for Canning/PET lines to optimize plant condition.
3. Reduce downtime, enhance plant reliability, and improve OEE within budget.
4. Create and adapt flexible maintenance plans to meet production needs.
5. Identify and address training needs for direct reports.
6. Manage spare parts inventory for Canning/PET equipment, keeping stock minimal.
7. Coordinate supplier services through effective, cost-efficient contracts.
8. Support food safety, quality, and hygiene standards in production.
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and own the RCA process for Canning/PET Engineering.
10. Drive reductions in energy and maintenance costs.
11. Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and OEMs.
12. Develop weekly and annual maintenance schedules in collaboration with OEMs.
13. Adhere to Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures; ensure staff training.
14. Support preparations for internal and external audits (e.g., FSSC, BRC, AIB).
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Management/Supervisory experience
* Operational management experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of Lean/CI tools and techniques
* Knowledge of relevant Health, Safety & Environmental Legislation
* Knowledge of relevant Food Safety Legislation

Qualifications
* Electrical Engineer / Certified Mechanical Engineer
* Degree-level education or proven equivalent experience
