Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our fast-growing e-commerce and software development business. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen and an ability to interpret complex data across multiple business channels, including Amazon, our direct-to-consumer website, and software services. This role involves conducting financial analysis, preparing management reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisions. The Finance Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning that drive sustainable growth
Duties
* Conduct financial analysis including cash flow forecasting, profit and loss reviews, and budgeting across e-commerce and software development operations.
* Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Xero, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
* Analyse sales, margins, and product performance across Amazon, own website, and software platforms to identify trends and opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technology teams to gather data for strategic planning and investment decisions.
* Build and maintain financial models to support pricing strategies, stock investment, and ROI analysis.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, audit compliance records, and regulatory documentation.
* Monitor actual performance against budgets/forecasts, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions.
* Support ERP/accounting system enhancements and integration with e-commerce platforms to improve reporting accuracy.
* Provide insights on market and business performance to senior management, supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Experience
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MSc in Financial Management preferred).
* Proven experience in financial analysis, business planning, or corporate finance.
* Proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling).
* Familiarity with Xero and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
* Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, website sales systems) desirable.

Pay: £30,406.83-£40,000.00 per year
