Role - Expeditor Location: Bridge of Don Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 per week Hybrid Working: 1 day per week Role Overview: As an Expeditor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services by liaising with suppliers, tracking orders, and maintaining communication between internal teams and clients. You'll help drive operational efficiency, mitigate supply risks, and maintain a smooth procurement process. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and track open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Liaise with suppliers to obtain order updates, resolve delays, and confirm shipment details. Communicate delivery status updates to internal stakeholders and clients. Maintain accurate records of all expediting activities, including order confirmations and shipping documentation. Collaborate with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure alignment of delivery expectations. Identify and escalate potential supply chain disruptions or late deliveries. Assist in resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the expediting and procurement process. Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar expediting, supply chain, or procurement role (ideally within the oil & gas or energy sector). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with procurement software/systems.
