JOB TITLE: Packing Operator ...
DEPARTMENT: Assembly
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
1. This is an individual contributor role with expectations aligned to the Capabilities and Behaviours as set out in the Employee Handbook.
2. Within the Kit Packing Environment, the Packing Operator is responsible for safely ensuring the on-time delivery of finished/assembled (packed) product which conforms to current best practices and Quality standards, and is aligned to the expectations set by the Operations Master Schedule.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
3. Conduct all activities in accordance with the Health & Safety culture.
4. Accurately follow instructions, such as SOPs/KLFs/PBRs, to ensure that product is produced accurately and in line with Quality instructions.
5. Complete Quality documentation in accordance with GMP.
6. Positively participate in training and self-development.
7. Be able to operate Packing/Kit Assembly Equipment.
8. Actively seek out and contribute to continuous improvements activities relating to:
9. Product line (Process, Documentation, Material).
10. Workplace organization.
11. Carry out other duties as and when requested by Line and/or Department/Senior Manager.
BACKGROUND
12. Nat 4, or equivalent, in English, Maths, or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
REQUIREMENTS
13. Have a drive and commitment to meet customer performance and delivery. Have accountability skills and will be able to set clear and simple expectations for both themselves and the wider group.
14. Must at times be flexible enough to react to changing business goals, juggle and manage personal workload as per business requirements in a positive and open manner.
15. An ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience and accept and follow up on the views and opinions of others. Additionally, the individual should be self-directed & motivated with the ability to deliver appropriate results.
16. Attending meetings as required and making a meaningful contribution (i.e., Tier meetings).
17. A willingness to daily communicate with local leaders, and to support and encourage as appropriate.
18. Undertake all activities in a manner which is compliant and supportive of all environmental, health and Safety (EHS) and Quality guiding principles and global standards.
19. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
20. Knowledge of GMP production processes and procedures.
