Job Title: Senior Council Tax Officer Location of work: Town Hall/Hybrid working (Homeworking) Salary: £43,788 - £53,856 Basis: Permanent - Full time About the Role With the support of the Revenues and Benefits Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Council Tax billing team. You will deal with complex cases, complaints and appeals to the Valuation Tribunal. You will ensure that the council maximises council tax collection under the relevant legislation, statutory time limits and locally set targets and will be pivotal to annual billing. You will oversee the administration of Council Tax accounts up to liability stage and provide a high level of customer service to our residents.
