As a Registered Dental Nurse you will be responsible for supporting your Manager in ensuring that our service users needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.
Main duties of the job
Possess excellent communication skills.
Is confident to work collaboratively with a range of internal & external stakeholders & partners across the health & social care sector.
Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.

Person Specification
Experience
* Minor oral surgery, orthodontics and restorative dentistry experience.
* Experience in assisting the management of a sedated patients.
* Previous experience of working in an Oral / Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Department
* Experience of assisting with clinical orthodontic procedures.
* Hospital experience
Knowledge and Awareness
* Background knowledge of most routine oral and maxillofacial and Orthodontic procedures, including cross infection control.
* Understanding of the need for confidentiality
* Awareness of Health and Safety requirements.
* Safeguarding and consent
* Mental Capacity Act.
Qualifications
* The National Examination Board Certificate for Dental Nurses (NEBDN)
* Current registration with the General Dental Council
* NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Dental Nursing
* NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Dental Nursing
* Certificate in Health Education
* NEBDN Certificate in Radiography
