The Prevention Team plays a vital role in achieving this mission by focusing on proactive measures to prevent fires, road traffic collisions, and other emergencies. The Role: This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a dedicated and professional Fire Community Prevention Advisor to support the delivery of our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP). This role is integral to promoting fire and road safety, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and enhancing community resilience through evidence-based prevention initiatives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the Fire and Rescue Service, wider Council teams, and external partners to design, implement, and evaluate prevention programmes that address identified risks and deliver measurable outcomes. Working Pattern: We would like for the successful applicant to work the 0.8 FTE 29.6 hrs over 4 days, 7.4 hrs a day. Monday - Thursday. However green book terms do offer a flexible working options.
