The Role
Working alternate 6-2 2-10 shifts Mon - Fri, you will be responsible for delivering the production plan efficiently across your area, maximising yield and minimising downtime and waste. You will lead in cost reduction exercises, quality improvements, and assist with new product development.

* Extensive management experience in factory environments, particularly in the food sector.
* Proven leadership in managing production teams and ensuring effective performance.
* Experience in implementing food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and environmental standards.
* Success in driving factory improvements and operational efficiency.
* Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders internally and externally.
* A collaborative team player fostering a positive, safe, and innovative environment.
* Results-oriented leader capable of meeting targets, solving problems, and performing under pressure.
* Ability to work within structured frameworks, remaining decisive and composed under pressure.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Planning to optimise efficiency and resolve issues.
* Support the Operations Manager in departmental projects and initiatives.

* Lead in non-standard situations, including evacuations.
* Communicate departmental targets and align with company policies.
* Assist in recruitment and labour planning.
* Manage HR procedures related to absence, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
* Support attendance and promote a proactive team culture.
* Prioritise health and safety in all activities.
