Aftersales Manager

Location: Surrey, England

Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 basic

Bonus: £20,000 OTE plus over-achievement potential

Pybus Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading UK automotive retail group in their search for an experienced and ambitious Aftersales Manager to join a dealership in Surrey.

This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a high-performing aftersales operation within a well-established, customer-focused automotive business representing multiple manufacturer brands across the UK and Ireland.

As Aftersales Manager, you will lead by example, setting the standard for customer service excellence while driving performance across Service, Workshop, and Parts. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Parts team.

You will manage a busy and professional department, overseeing day-to-day operations while maintaining strong control of productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, and KPI performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts teams
* Ensure exceptional customer experiences by treating every customer as an individual
* Drive workshop productivity and efficiency to maximise performance
* Monitor departmental budgets and KPIs, addressing shortfalls with clear action plans
* Analyse local market data to identify growth opportunities
* Prepare forecasts and performance reports in a timely and structured manner
* Take full ownership of customer satisfaction results and engagement
* Conduct training, appraisals, and performance reviews to support team development

About You

* Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or in a similar senior aftersales role
* Background within a automotive environment as an ASM
* Strong commercial awareness with a focus on transactional aftersales performance
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
* Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
* Confident managing financials, KPIs, and operational performance
* Full UK driving licence required
