Lead Civil Enforcement Officer

About the role:
Supports the Parking Officer by supervising Civil Enforcement Officers and overseeing effective parking enforcement to reduce illegal parking and improve road safety. Issues PCNs, manages appeals evidence, and conducts patrols. Investigates abandoned and nuisance vehicles, audits parking income systems, and ensures compliance with legislation. Assists in managing markets and car park operations while maintaining
professional standards, safety procedures, and customer-focused service delivery.

What you will do:
1 Lead and supervise a team of Civil Enforcement Officers, providing guidance and support
2 Plan and coordinate daily patrols to ensure effective coverage and compliance
3 Enforce parking regulations fairly and consistently across the area
4 Manage complex cases, complaints, and support the appeals process
6 Monitor team performance and maintain accurate records and reports
6 Engage with the public and partners to resolve issues and improve traffic management
