Your new role
As Senior HR Advisor, you will support the HR Manager in delivering a comprehensive HR service across the organisation. You'll lead a small HR team and oversee key areas of the employee lifecycle including:
* Provide expert HR advice and support on policies, procedures, and employee relations.
* Lead and develop a small HR team to deliver across recruitment, onboarding, absence, and compliance.
* Manage and process payroll activities with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Oversee HR administration and ensure data integrity across systems and records.
* Develop and update HR policies in line with legislation and organisational needs.
* Support health and wellbeing initiatives and contribute to HR projects and strategy.
* Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
* A degree in HR or a related field, or a CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above).
* At least 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role covering the full employee lifecycle.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and experience handling employee relations matters.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a confidential environment.
* Experience in recruitment, absence management, and policy development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Desirable: Experience in payroll processing and familiarity with HR/payroll systems.
