Position
Interim Finance Officer role with hybrid working, based in Swindon initially until the end of August 2026. Your new company: Education Sector employer based in Swindon.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage incoming payments, posting and reconciling transactions in a timely manner.
* Ensure that all income is recorded and reconciled accurately and timely, with relevant evidence uploaded into the finance system.
* Monitor the cash balances and provide regular cash flow forecast reports to the Head of Finance.
* Manage the monthly reconciling of credit card purchases.
* Issue sales invoices, updating account information and records of clients.
* Monitor the Aged Debtors and advise on possible doubtful debts.
* Ensure that all payments are processed in line with internal policies.
* Undertake day‑to‑day accounts receivable activities.
* Assist the Purchase Ledger Team Lead with data required for procurement purposes.
* Undertake processing of invoices and the sending of Purchase Orders.

The successful candidate will be offered hybrid working, 33 days annual leave per annum and an initial pay rate of up to £16.50 per hour, including holiday pay.
