Role Purpose
The Facilities Manager will oversee the operation and maintenance of all physical aspects across Richmond Village Witney, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems, ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction for residents.

As Facilities Manager, you'll ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to high standards, keeping the Village fully operational.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead maintenance and grounds teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
* Coordinate with village departments such as operations, leisure, housekeeping, reception, and sales to support maintenance activities and operational goals.
Key Skills & Requirements:
* Proven maintenance management experience, preferably in senior living or hospitality.
* Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields preferred.
* Health and safety qualification, e.g., IOSH Managing Safely.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and team motivation ability.
* Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
* Maintenance planning and project management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of building regulations, safety, and environmental standards.
* Proficiency with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility to respond to emergencies and work occasional evenings or weekends.
* Technical knowledge of general trades; pool plant operator knowledge is preferable.
* Implement maintenance policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Conduct inspections, prioritize repairs, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
* Manage budgets, liaise with contractors, and respond to emergencies.
* Maintain accurate records and stay informed on industry trends.
* Perform village walkabouts, prepare business presentations, and be available for emergency calls and weekend duty shifts.
