Health and Safety Co-ordinator – Civil Engineering / Construction
Hours:
1. Monday to Friday
2. 7:30am to 5:00pm
3. 40 hours per week
Location:
4. Hull-based business
5. Projects typically within a 100-mile radius, covering areas across East Yorkshire, North East and West Yorkshire
About the role An established civil engineering and construction contractor is looking to bring a Health and Safety Co-ordinator into their safety team.
The role will involve carrying out regular health and safety inspections across live construction sites and producing clear, accurate reports. You will work in a structured, consistent way, building positive working relationships with site teams and client representatives.
You will also support the preparation and completion of health and safety documentation, including Construction Phase Plans and Risk Assessments and Method Statements for upcoming projects.
Other responsibilities will include:
6. Planning and booking training courses
7. Co-ordinating training with site and office teams
8. General health and safety administration support
Qualifications
9. NEBOSH General Certificate and or Construction Certificate
10. SMSTS desirable
11. Streetworks Supervisor desirable
12. Full UK driving licence required
About you You will have a background in construction, ideally with experience at Site Supervisor or Site Management level, and a strong practical understanding of health and safety on live construction sites.
