We are looking for a Senior Care Worker who can lead a committed team and support the delivery of high quality, person centred care for older people. This role suits someone who brings confidence, empathy and consistency to every shift while ensuring that dignity and respect remain central to all care provided.
What You Will Do
* Lead and support the care team including rota planning and task allocation
* Provide management cover and maintain a safe and welcoming environment
* Oversee care planning, medication management and quality assurance
* Supervise and appraise staff and support their training and development
* Promote the wellbeing of service users in a kind and person centred way
About You
You are an encouraging and dependable leader who supports colleagues with clarity and integrity. You hold a Christian faith and are comfortable working within CrossReach’s ethos. You have an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and are willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. Basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership are required.
