Position
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Stroke team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team to support and manage patient‑centred care within the acute stroke unit.
Ward
Ward 42 is a 24‑bed Acute and early rehabilitation Stroke Unit. The ward offers 24/7 specialised stroke care from when patients are first admitted to the hospital and aims to provide the highest standard of quality, evidence‑based care.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team to support them in driving local and national stroke care standards.
* Provide person‑centred, safe and effective care to patients in the acute stroke unit.
Working hours
Full‑time 36 hours per week, working over 7 days per week, including weekend and out of hours working.
Qualification and Requirements
* Registered nurse (RN).
* Commitment to leading person‑centred, safe and effective care.
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
