Your new role
As Group Financial Controller, you will drive continuous improvement in finance controls, leveraging digital tools and automation for efficiency. Alongside this, you will lead month-end close, statutory accounts, and ensurepliance with accounting, tax, and audit standards. You will also build trusted relationships with auditors, advisers, banks, and regulators while partnering internally to support sound financial decisions. In addition, you’ll inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and innovation.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record of leading finance teams and driving transformation. Your blend of technical expertise andmercial acumen. You will need to bring deep knowledge of technical accounting, financial controls and reporting, alongside experience delivering change and implementing automation or new systems. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential. Experience in the health or social care sector would be considered highly desirable.
