We are seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 Tutor to provide tailored educational support to learners in the Northumberland (NE65) area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and reach their full potential.
As a 1:1 Tutor, you will deliver personalised lessons designed to meet the individual needs of the learner. Sessions may take place in the student's home, a community setting, or another suitable location.
You will:
Plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Support academic progress and confidence-building
Monitor and record student development
Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate learners
Patient, adaptable, and committed approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
Previous 1:1 tuition experience
