Benefits: * Yearly bonus * Enhanced Pension * Enhanced holiday increasing with service * Life assurance * Medicash scheme Responsibilities: * Expert mechanical and electrical system knowledge with the ability to identify, diagnose and rectify breakdowns * Ensure plant and equipment performance meets operational efficiency and compliance standards. * Deliver and improve planned preventative maintenance across the site whilst maintaining CMMS records. * Lead on instrumentation, process controls and PLC-related tasks (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley). * Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production. * Provide training and support to new and existing team members. Controls Engineer Requirements: * Apprentice trained or equivalent engineering qualification * Strong PLC knowledge (Diagnosing & programming) * Be prepared to assist other sites with PLC systems or small automation projects (remote or on-site) * Experience delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives. * Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
