About The Role This is an exciting role that will need you to mentor and assess groups of young IT apprentices towards the achievement of a vocational Apprenticeship programme. You will work to meet the key business strategies and objectives, by planning and completing assessments for learners engaged on Apprenticeships for ICT Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. You will ensure learners on the programme manage their learning and achievement in line with the targets and objectives agreed in their Individual Learning Plan, completing regular, formal progress reviews with learners and their employers. You will be willing to travel and complete assessment of all related City and Guilds assignments. Your Skills & Experience Willingness to gain Assessor Award within 3 months of commencing employment Knowledge of the ICT Apprenticeship frameworks is desirable Knowledge of business requirements, processes and methodologies is essential A Degree (or equivalent), Higher Education Qualification in ICT or significant industry experience in areas to be assessed is essential CAVA / A1 assessor award (not essential) ICT Technical Software Development and Programming skills Excellent communication skills Ability to identify individual learner needs Ability to provide feedback in a way that motivates individual learners QA offer a competitive package benefits free training courses in any area you wish to gain knowledge on more.
