Job Title: Warehouse Administrator

Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of warehouse activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and supporting the warehouse team with administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock levels, and perform regular stock checks.
* Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
* Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and collections.
* Manage warehouse documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
* Support the warehouse team with daily administrative tasks and reporting.
* Monitor warehouse systems for discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
* Assist in the preparation of reports for management, including stock reports and performance metrics.
* Handle customer queries and communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a warehouse administration or logistics role.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
* Familiarity with shipping and freight documentation.
