For more information check out www.virginlimitededition.com The Reservations Manager will report into the Head of Reservations and will oversee the effective and efficient running of the Reservations Team and the provision of excellent guest service, while ensuring that rooms revenue opportunities are optimised at all times. This hybrid working role is based in our London office in Fitzrovia where our central teams are located. You will work five, 8.5 hour shifts over a seven-day period, including weekends and public holidays. To be considered for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK. Here’s what you need in your tool kit: Qualifications And Skills Minimum 3 years’ experience within hotel reservation management essential Experience in handling a small, highly diverse and motivated team within the luxury travel environment Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Committed to service excellence and guest satisfaction Proactive, passionate, positive and flexible attitude A quick thinker, highly adaptable and ability to multitask and work under own initiative Excellent time management and ability to set and meet deadlines Works well under pressure and naturally goes the extra mile Team orientated and a team player Familiarity with Infor HMS and Synxis CRS is beneficial What’s the gig? Here’s what you’d do: Oversee and support the Reservations Team with responding to enquiries to guarantee that all reservations are handled in accordance with company minimum standards for turnaround, confirmation and follow-up Effectively manage the Reservations Team, including communication, workload, processes, training, performance and development Support the Head of Reservations in overseeing the day to day running of the Reservations Offices in multiple locations Ensure a high level of personal service is given to all clients at all times including direct consumers, agents, tour operators and other relevant parties Ensure any documentation/SOPs are reviewed and updated in cnjunction with the Reservations Teams in multiple locations Be the first point of escalation for any unsatisfied callers, resolve issue and conduct follow up where necessary with the Reservations Team To maintain the highest levels of communication between the Reservations Teams, Sales Teams and the Property Teams To support the Head of Revenue and Head of Reservations in the implementation and review of our overall strategy to meet the business objectives To continuously review our working practices and systems used are in-line with a best-in-class reservations environment Here’s the deal: Package & Benefits Competitive salary Performance based bonus, based on both team and individual criteria Hybrid working with at least 2 days working from our London office each week and lunch provided when working at the office Occasional work travel to some of our magical properties! 25 days paid holiday per year plus public holidays Additional day off for your birthday and a paid day off to support the charity of your choice Life assurance cover with us You will be auto enrolled into the group pension scheme after completing 3 months service, however you can choose to opt in sooner.
