*Role – *Electrical Team Leader - Concast*Salary - *£44895.12*Location - *Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 1XA*Pattern of Work - *Days*What you need to know about the role*We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Craft person or Team Leader to join the engineering team at Concast.In this role, you will lead craft work groups made up of both internal employees and contractors ensuring that all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.Your primary responsibility will be to plan, supervise and execute daily electrical maintenance and improvement tasks ensuring they are completed on time to support asset reliability and use your skillset to respond to arising breakdowns.You will be allocated to one of the 4 continuous casters within the Concast Plant (Caster 4, Billet, Slab and Caster 5). The Concast plant receives molten steel from 300 ton ladles at temperature up to 1600c. The molten steel is cast into the end product using oscillating copper moulds, water sprays, transport roller tables, torch cutting machines and cooling banks. The cast products range from 140mm square billets to 2035mm wide 305mm thick slabs at lengths up to 14.5m.You will work on many different types of electrical and engineering equipment that includes motors, drives, sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA/HMI, MCC (power centres), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gas systems and water systems.*What we need to know about you*To be considered for this position you must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship\*.Ideally you will have experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a commercial or heavy engineering environment. Essential to the role is the ability to adapt to new equipment.
