Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the operational management and strategic direction of Galeta. Based on-site in Greater London, the COO will be responsible for optimizing business operations, ensuring financial health, and driving company growth. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, refining business processes, collaborating with other leaders to develop and execute business strategies, overseeing budgeting and financial planning, and ensuring operational efficiency across teams.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Business Planning and Operations Management
* Proven Analytical Skills, with the ability to assess and improve processes and strategies
* Solid understanding of Finance and Budgeting to ensure fiscal responsibility and optimize resources
* Proficiency in decision-making and leadership to guide cross-functional teams and drive organizational success
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration across departments
* Experience in scaling business operations and managing teams, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
