Are you an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for education and operational excellence? We are seeking a School Business Manager to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school community. As our School Business Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing: Job Opportunity: Primary School Business Manager Location: Burnley Hours: 8.15am – 4pm Salary: Pay scale depending on the grade of the role The role will include: Finance and Budgeting HR and Recruitment Processes Premises and Facilities Management Health & Safety Compliance Procurement and Contract Management Administrative Systems and Office Staff This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the day-to-day running and long-term success of our school. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: - Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused - Experienced in financial and resource management (ideally in an educational setting) - A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills - Skilled in using financial and administrative systems (e.g. SIMS, FMS, or similar) - Committed to supporting the school’s values and vision - A relevant qualification in school business management (e.g. CSBM/DSBM) is desirable but not essential.
