We are looking for an upbeat and empathetic Male Support Worker to work with Max, an incredible man in his twenties living very close to Throop Mill - one of his favourite walking spots! Due to the tailored needs that Max has, we can only consider male candidates with experience in autism or complex care on a 2:1 basis. Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship The role Max communicates verbally using short phrases. He also uses PECS cards on his daily board to help understand his plan for the day - this could be when family are visiting or if there are any changes to be aware of. He thrives with a well-structured daily routine that balances fun, comfort, and personal growth.
