This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join a highly successful Corporate & Commercial team based in Maidstone. You’ll manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, providing expert advice and ensuring exceptional service across all aspects of the client journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business activity effectively
* Review client documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive presentation for quotations
* Liaise with underwriters, clients, and third parties to ensure the best outcomes
* Prepare and maintain high-quality market documentation and secure necessary approvals
* Support senior colleagues with client projects and renewal strategies
* Maintain accurate records and data to ensure compliance with company procedures
* Contribute to team meetings and business progress updates
* Build strong, professional relationships internally and externally
About You
* Experience in corporate or mid-commercial account handling is essential
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles, regulation, and the wider market
* Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
* Organised, detail-focused, and adaptable under pressure
* Positive, proactive, and customer-focused, with a drive to deliver results

The Offer
* Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
* Hybrid working: 3 days in the Maidstone office, 2 from home
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
