The Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel is looking for an experienced Sous Chef or Chef de Partie looking to take their first senior position to join our friendly Kitchen Brigade.
Our hotel has been fully refurbished and has a high level of corporate guests along with over 80 weddings each year; we also cater for many conference guests and smaller private parties.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will need to be well organised, creative, self-motivated and achievement orientated. You will be fully involved in all aspects of the kitchen operations, and will be expected to deputise for the Head Chef in their absence. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in all aspects of kitchen management such as ordering, stock control and health and safety regulations. You will have some experience in kitchen supervision, and would ideally have a good knowledge of conference and banqueting.
The Sous Chef will play a leading role with menu development and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen also in training and development junior team members.
