Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Alternative Asset Management)

Salary/Rate: £600-650 per day inside IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector‑leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst with strong Asset Management (AM) expertise, including hands‑on knowledge of Allvue, Alternative Asset Management (Alt AM), or Alternative Credit platforms, to support complex system and data initiatives.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The successful candidate will play a key role in independently driving analysis, defining requirements, and shaping solution design within large‑scale AM environments.
* Lead and independently manage business analysis activities across configuration and data workstreams
* Conduct detailed analysis of systems, data, and business processes
* Apply Alternative Asset Management domain knowledge (e.g. private equity, private credit, fund lifecycles, capital calls, distributions, and fee structures) to inform system configuration and requirements
* Produce high‑quality, structured Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
* Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for configuration and development teams
* Propose solution options, facilitate decision‑making, and document agreed approaches
* Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and delivery
Required Skills/Experience
* Strong knowledge of Allvue, Alternative Asset Management (Alt AM), or Alternative Credit platforms (essential)
* Strong experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management (essential)
* Proven ability to work independently and manage end‑to‑end analysis activities
* Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
* Experience working on large‑scale Asset Management systems implementations (preferred)
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
