Salary: £28,000 - 48,000 per year Requirements: Currently enrolled as a university student in a relevant IT discipline Knowledge of desktop PCs, laptops, and peripherals Familiarity with IT systems maintenance and administration Understanding of cyber security principles Experience with ticketing systems for IT support Ability to assist with hardware and software troubleshooting Basic knowledge of networking concepts, specifically Cisco Strong communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with the ability to document technical processes clearly Responsibilities: Provide IT Helpdesk support to SEUPB users across all locations Assist in the maintenance and updating of IT systems Resolve day-to-day technical issues efficiently Ensure security and integrity of all IT systems Collaborate with IT Systems Officers and IT Manager on projects Log tickets related to IT systems and services Conduct operational checks on system backups and SIEM logs Support hardware setup, including server and network infrastructures Maintain documentation of systems and technical processes Manage the administration of MFA authentication on M365 and devices Assist in website maintenance and update IT policies when needed Engage with external IT service providers as required Technologies: Cisco Hardware Support Network Security Active Directory Hyper-V ICT MySQL SQL VPN More: We are the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) located in Belfast, offering an exciting opportunity for university students to gain hands-on experience in our IT team for a placement of up to 51 weeks.
