Little Trees Tewkesbury Day Nursery offers a caring and welcoming environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating space for every child.We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Housekeeper to join our friendly team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our setting.As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in keeping the nursery environment clean, safe and well-presented for children, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery Clean play areas, toilets, kitchen and staff areas daily Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures Support infection control and hygiene routines in line with nursery policies Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely Carry out laundry duties (e.g. bedding) Dispose of waste appropriately and safely Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptlyWhat Were Looking For Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience (desirable but not essential) Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning processes Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to child safetyDean Close Nurseries Limited are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.All positions will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
