Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quality Engineer:
1. Develop and execute inspection and test plans, direct product verification processes, and ensure traceability and robustness in manufacturing methods.
2. Lead process improvement projects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
3. Work with Operations, Engineering, and Audit teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
4. Prepare detailed reports on departmental activities, rejected items, and overall quality metrics.
5. Understand customer specifications and maintain adherence to quality standards and ethics policies.
Qualifications/Requirements of the Senior Quality Engineer:
6. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent experience), 7–10 years in a related field.
7. Must have a solid understanding of inspection measurement techniques, GD&T, and drawing interpretation.
8. Experience working with Coordinate Measuring Machines, including familiarity with programming.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and business correspondence.
10. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD Confidential Clearance.
Work Environment for the Senior Quality Engineer:
11. 4-day, 10-hour workweek (40 hours), with overtime as needed.
12. Physical Requirements: Ability to move between program locations as necessary.
