Do you want to play a key Project Management role in delivering capability into the UK Eurofighter Typhoon fleet? Based in Edinburgh, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of this programme and collaborate closely with the ongoing development programme. The role requires a strong interface with cross‑functional teams to drive the programme forward, improve efficiency and innovation, all while maintaining the production delivery schedule required by the customer.
What you will do as Project Manager – ECRS Mk2 Production
* In conjunction with the project accountant, monitor and control project finances and the CSR.
* Support business‑winning activities for export and follow‑on UK production contracts.
* Assist in adherence to lifecycle management.
* In conjunction with manufacturing, material control, procurement and the development team, manage the phase release of material into a complex supply chain, balancing design maturing with risk.
What you’ll bring
* Ability to work with people, negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes and be comfortable making decisions.
* Strong analytical, management and financial skills to support accurate project schedule and cost reporting.
* Technical and business‑process knowledge to aid in the development of an operational framework for production support and to manage day‑to‑day activities, including material supply, failure & material review boards, configuration & change management and work‑package management.
* APM accreditation or relevant qualifications – beneficial but not essential.
