An interim management accountant is sought to join our client located in Manchester City Centre.
6 months fixed term contract.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for line management of one Assistant Financial Accountant.
2. Support team with the project work for the planned new finance system implementation, including fixed asset module and capex.
3. Ensure spreadsheet based fixed asset register is maintained and all fixed asset monthly tasks are completed in a timely manner.
4. Review monthly Fixed Asset Register to ensure accuracy and support in its production.
5. Preparation of monthly control account reconciliation between the general ledger balances on Navision and the fixed asset register totals for review. Investigate and resolve any differences identified.
6. Preparation of weekly and monthly Capex reports for the Finance Director and Head of Facilities. Resolve any field queries arising from the Facilities and IT departments.
7. Preparation of the monthly cash flow, identifying cash receipts, cash payments and the net change in cash resulting from the operating, financing and investing activities.
8. Preparation of the monthly and year to date cash flow commentary, identifying the significant cash movements in the reporting month.
9. Month end procedures posting journals, providing summary reporting to highlight any issues.
10. Ad-hoc duties such as preparation of information for the external auditors and assistance with some internal audit testing.
