Astute’s Renewable Energy team is partnering with a leading business who own and operate a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants. We are looking to recruit a Feedstock Development Manager, ideally located in the Yorkshire area, to source sustainable materials for new and existing plants. The vital Feedstock Development Manager role comes with a very competitive salary (depending on experience), a performance related bonus and additional benefits package. Responsibilities and duties of the Feedstock Development Manager role Reporting to the Senior Feedstock Manager you will: * Procure crop and waste feedstocks for our biomethane plants in the Northeast of the UK * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders * Negotiate contracts and manage supply agreements * Analyse market trends and identify new feedstock opportunities * Collaborate with the feedstock team to optimize procurement strategies * Ensure compliance with quality standards and sustainability requirements * Monitor and report on feedstock inventory and supply chain performance * Other duties as required Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: * Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related field * A full UK Driving Licence (essential) Personal skills The Feedstock Development Manager role would suit someone who is: * 3 years of experience in feedstock procurement or similar role in the renewable energy sector * Strong knowledge of agricultural and waste management industries * Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills * Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with sustainability practices and renewable energy regulations Salary and benefits of the Feedstock Development Manager role * Competitive salary depending on experience * Car allowance * Pension scheme * Performance based bonus * Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package * The chance to join a leader in the renewable energy sector LI-AR1 INDREN Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
