Consultant Radiologist – Imaging Department
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is proud to announce a highly motivated and committed Consultant Radiologist position to join the Imaging Department at East Surrey Hospital (Redhill) and support the Crawley Hospital site. The post has become available as a result of service development and expansion of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality radiology service as part of a team of 24 Consultant Radiologists and 4 Registrars.
* Work primarily at East Surrey Hospital and support the Crawley Hospital site.
* Engage closely with the established cardiac Multi‑Disciplinary Team using a 'One Team' approach.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Specialist register holder or have a CCT date within 6 months of the interview date.
* Highly motivated and committed to working within a flexible and enthusiastic team.
Additional Information
The Imaging department is well equipped with 4 CT scanners, 2 MRI scanners, an interventional suite, SPECT CT (launching November 2025), 4 ultrasound rooms, DEXA and multiple general X‑ray rooms across the acute East Surrey site and satellite Crawley site. A new Redhill CDC will open later this year offering CT, X‑ray, DEXA and ultrasound.
