Role Overview: As a Primary TA, you will support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist with classroom activities, and provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils. Your role will help ensure that all children feel included, motivated, and confident in their learning. Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant: Support pupils in their academic, emotional, and social development. Work alongside the class teacher to deliver planned activities and interventions. Provide targeted support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Contribute to classroom displays, preparation of resources, and general administrative tasks. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting is desirable. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
