A major utilities organisation I am working closely with on the South Coast is looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager to drive independent IT and business change projects across a dynamic portfolio. : Project Manager - IT/Business/Asset Management : £60,000 - £70,000 : Permanent, 2-3 days per week on site : South East - Kent/Hampshire/Sussex/Surrey Key Responsibilities: End-to-end delivery of medium-scale IT and business change initiatives Experience in delivering business applications such as Workday changes, HR, Changes to SAP, Procurement, Comms, CRM Leadership of cross-functional teams and mentoring of colleagues Oversight of project governance including risk, quality, and change control Budget management, procurement, and coordination of third-party contracts Strategic stakeholder engagement across technical and business functions Formal reporting to senior leadership on financials, milestones, and project status Alignment of project interdependencies within broader programme objectives To be considered for this role, you must have: Proven ability to scope, shape, and successfully deliver medium to large-scale IT projects Agile experience or formal qualification in Agile methodologies Strong background in procuring and managing third-party vendors across services, software, and IT infrastructure Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or a comparable project management framework (desirable but not required) Experience working within a matrixed organisation alongside Business, Service Architecture, Operations, and Security teams A results-oriented mindset with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently You will serve as the central point of accountability from project initiation through to service transition, driving measurable outcomes across operations, technology, and stakeholder engagement. Utilities background not essential but preferred - what is desirable is having worked in regulated/customer focused spaces such as retail with experience delivering meaningfully sized applications into business teams.
