Job Overview
Amber Valley Borough Council is recruiting an experienced Projects Officer to deliver strategic growth and investment projects and support the development of the borough. The role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the regeneration of the borough by delivering key regeneration projects, engaging with a range of stakeholders and fostering economic growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and deliver projects that support the Council’s growth agenda and infrastructure objectives.
* Apply project planning skills including risk management, budgeting, coordination and unblocking to ensure effective delivery.
* Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
* Manage travel and attend evening meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience delivering projects with partners, preferably in regeneration and business support.
* Strong project management skills and good organisational ability.
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently.
* Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
